Jonathan Clarke

Jonathan Clarke is a contemporary sculptor creating work in sand cast aluminium a method which relies on the destruction of the original mould resulting in an entirely unique one off sculpture.
He is renowned for his abstract and architectural style which carries an emotional resonance, often taking inspiration from social, spiritual and mythological subject matter. Influenced by sculptor Anthony Caro, Eduardo Chillida and Henry Moore as well as his father Geoffrey Clarke (RA).
